A beautiful village in the Langhe area where, in addition to Barolo, a truly exclusive wine is produced. The name Verduno seems to derive from the Celtic “verd”, meaning fertile terrain; others say that it means strong fortress, and it is no coincidence that the village is still called sentinel of the Langhe area, due to its extraordinary position. It is part of the Lands of Barolo, and the exclusive Pelaverga is also cultivated and produced here.

Verduno covers a small area but takes many hours to explore, due to the open-air wine bars, where it is difficult to resist the pleasure of a tasting session. The view from the belvedere garden should not be missed and will inspire you to set out on the network of paths.
